Outreach and Training

Purpose

VaxHub Outreach and Training initiatives aim
to actively engage with the wider community to:

Reduce vaccine hesitancy

by joining conversations to address the community’s concerns and to increase our understanding of the reasons behind hesitancy.

Increase the awareness

of the role of engineering in vaccine development and production – filling the knowledge gap of how research is translated from lab discovery, through development, to commercialisation and clinical use.

Directly support the training

of skilled personnel in vaccine bioprocessing.

Throughout the original VaxHub (2018-2023), we intensified outreach efforts to ensure the knowledge generated would have the widest possible reach.
